Blue Ridge Safety Association Celebrates OSHA 10 Certifications at Lakeside Book & Precision Tube

The Blue Ridge Safety Association (BRSA), the Shenandoah Valley’s leading nonprofit safety network, proudly recognizes employees from two local organizations who have earned their OSHA 10-Hour General Industry cards — demonstrating a strong commitment to building safer and healthier workplaces.

Stephen Wright and Bryan Edson with Lakeside Book and Chris Anderson with Precision Tube successfully completed the requirements to earn 10-Hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) General Industry certification, gaining essential knowledge and practical skills to recognize, prevent, and address common workplace hazards.

The OSHA 10-Hour General Industry training covers a broad range of critical safety topics, including hazard identification, personal protective equipment, emergency response, and workers’ rights. By completing the training, participants strengthen their ability to help prevent workplace injuries, promote a culture of safety and support compliance with state and federal workplace safety standards.

Casey Carwile, Safety Coordinator, with Design Electric served as the OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer for this course. BRSA extends its appreciation to Casey and Design Electric for sharing his expertise and helping prepare local employees to apply effective safety practices in their workplaces.

The Blue Ridge Safety Association supports safety and human resource professionals throughout the Shenandoah Valley by providing practical training, professional development, networking opportunities, and resources that help organizations achieve their workplace safety goals.

BRSA’s Annual Safety Conference is an upcoming opportunity for safety professionals, business leaders, and employees to connect, learn from industry experts, and explore current workplace safety topics. Registration information is available on the BRSA website under the Events tab.  https://www.blueridgesafety.org/events
