Pay Range is based on experience:
$29.96 - $40.45
Position Summary:
This full-time exempt position serves as the primary resident contact from admissions through transfer/discharge. Builds relationships with residents and families/support systems and links residents to services as needed. Ensures resident issues and concerns receive appropriate responses. Works collaboratively with the Director of Affordable Housing and Vice President of Independent Living, reviewing/implementing residential housing policies and procedures that support the missions and philosophy of VMRC and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Knowledgeable and compliant with HUD regulations.

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in the field of human services and at least 2 years’ experience working with senior adults preferred.
- Must possess the ability to supervise, coordinate, and effectively lead the activities of others.
- Must be able to communicate orally, in writing, and through presentation effectively.
- Must be able to work collaboratively throughout the entire organization to effectively engage staff, residents, family members, and other stakeholders.
- Must possess computer experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) for operations, report generation, and presentations.
- Must possess a command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Must be self-motivated, organized, and willing to be flexible to accommodate changing priorities.
- Proven ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment with minimal supervision. Proficiency in a second language is a plus.
