Creation is the theme of the 27th annual Shenandoah Valley Bach Festival, to be held in Harrisonburg June 9-16, 2019. The 27th season concludes with the cherished Leipzig Service, modeled on services during Bach’s years as a church musician in Leipzig, Germany during the Baroque era. Artistic Director Kenneth Nafziger leads the Festival Orchestra and Choir in J. S. Bach’s setting of Psalm 23, Der Herr ist mein getreuer Hirt, BWV 112.
