Third Thursday Talk – History Celebration
Thursday, October 17, 2019
Reception 6:30 p, Program 7p
In contrast to Thomas Jefferson's elegant and spacious first-floor bedroom and library, the family quarters upstairs housed three generations of dependents, enslaved servants, and a regular rotation of visitors. Diane Ehrenpreis, Associate Curator of Decorative Arts at Thomas Jefferson's Monticello, will provide a behind-the-scenes look at her research and restoration of the upper floors of the President's home.
The evening will begin with a dessert social at 6:30p, followed by the program at 7 pm.
