Storybook Trail is a 0.7 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Luray, Virginia, that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, nature trips, and bird watching. Dogs are also allowed to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Length 0.7 mi, Elevation gain 36 ft, Route type Out & back, paved to the end with little rock trails that lead off the sides with no real elevation change. Great for pictures and families with young children. Accessibility: The trail surface is asphalt, wooden boardwalk, or other pavement (with edge barriers and railings), and typically at least 5 feet wide. The estimated grade is mostly gentle (5% or less). This trail will likely be navigable for most trail goers using wheelchairs/mobility equipment or strollers.
