Something fresh is growing in Dayton this summer—and it’s rooted in history.
Heirloom Markets will debut on the fourth Thursday evenings of June through September, transforming three historic Dayton, Virginia, locations into a lively community market experience filled with local flavor, artisan craftsmanship, old-fashioned skills, and small-town charm. The markets will take place from 5–8 pm on June 25, July 23, August 27, and September 24.
Hosted collaboratively by Rocktown History, Fort Harrison, and Virginia Quilt Museum at Silver Lake, Heirloom Markets invites visitors to slow down, stroll through historic spaces, and experience a market inspired by tradition, craftsmanship, and conversation.
