About Us

The Outdoor Learning Center at Horizons creates exciting learning experiences and lasting bonds for school groups, youth retreats, and scouts. In the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, we offer programming to establish positive group culture, develop better communication skills and experience the outdoors in a meaningful way.

We offer horseback riding, canoeing, caving, climbing and many more exciting and challenging outdoor adventures. Our on-site team building courses offer high and low ropes, zip lines, and a giant swing.
In addition to our programming, The Outdoor Learning Center at Horizons provides comfortable lodging and casual dining to make your stay delightful.
