Harrisonburg, VA – #GivingTuesday is coming up next week! This annual, worldwide day of generosity encourages communities to do good on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. The Community Foundation of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County (TCFHR) makes it easy to give back to the community we love. That is why TCFHR has created an easy to follow, giving guide that promotes sixty-five nonprofit agencies and their specific project funding needs. TCFHR hopes the community will refer to Giving Back when making their charitable giving on Giving Tuesday, November 29, and throughout the next year in 2023.

Nonprofit organizations share their needs for funding in a more in-depth and direct way with the greater community. Individuals may choose to send funding directly to a nonprofit agency listed in the publication. Donations are at the discretion of individual donors, corporations, civic clubs and grants committees. Contact information for each organization is included in the guide. Donors may contribute from their funds at TCFHR as well.
The community can learn more about sixty-five nonprofit needs in TCFHR’s Giving Back, published and distributed through Daily News-Record and online at www.tcfhr.org. Community members may also go to TCFHR located at 317 S. Main St., Harrisonburg, for a print copy.
