Volunteers are the backbone of Skyline Literacy as they allow Skyline to provide affordable programs for adult students in the Shenandoah Valley. Volunteer teachers\, assistants\, and one-on-one tutors are essential to the success of our students? education. Your time\, dedication\, and experience can make a direct impact on our learners. Visit www.skylineliteracy.org/volunteer-now to learn more.\n\n\n\nSkyline Literacy\, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization\, is requesting the support of volunteers to support its continuing efforts to fulfill its mission: ?to provide instruction\, based on need\, in various literacies\, for adults in Harrisonburg and Rockingham Counties using trained\, qualified instructors and volunteers.? As a community-based literacy organization for 33 years\, Skyline Literacy serves over 300 individuals annually. Since opening in 1987\, Skyline Literacy puts the needs of learners first and has developed a unique instructional approach that provides customized lessons for every learner. Skyline Literacy?s programs include English language learning\, basic literacy\, GED preparation\, citizenship preparation\, family literacy\, and digital literacy.
