SUMMARY:SPQA Baldrige 101 Training
DESCRIPTION:Baldrige 101: Introduction to the Baldrige Framework\, is a one-day workshop where participants become familiar with the basics of the Framework its Core Values\, the Criteria\, guidelines for evaluating processes and results\, and an introduction to applying the Framework in an organization.  The session\, which is case study-based and includes exercises to practice the elements of the Framework\, is taught by experienced members of the SPQA and Baldrige communities.   Baldrige 101 sessions are offered in different regions of the Commonwealth and Washington\, DC throughout the year.  Some participants represent their organizations individually\, while some come as workplace duos or teams.  Additionally\, individuals interested in being SPQA Examiners must take the Baldrige 101 course every two years to ensure familiarity with the most updated version of the Framework.\n\nIf an organization has a significant number of employees who would benefit from learning about the Framework\, it may arrange to have Baldrige 101 taught on-site.  In those situations\, the trainers typically customize the training by using the organization\, itself\, as the case study\, allowing the participants to apply the Baldrige principles directly to their own workplace.
