DESCRIPTION:Now it's time to see how your insights and ideas will shape the future of Downtown.\n\nThe Downtown 2040 Steering Committee and planning team are ready to share some strategies for the future\, and we need the community's input!\n\nWe'll be hosting a series of pop-up events - from happy hour to coffee hour\, South Downtown to North Downtown and Court Square in between! All are welcome to stop by to learn about Downtown past and present and weigh in on ideas for future growth\, change\, and preservation.\n\nTo participate in an in-person Dream Downtown event\, please mark your calendar\, and plan to join us:\n\nFor Happy Hour: Friday\, July 23 from 3:30pm-8:00pm in the roundabout at Pale Fire Brewing (with live music\, beer for purchase\, and free Branch's Soft Serve for the first 100 people)\n\nOutside Magpie Diner: Saturday\, July 24 from 8:30am-1:00pm\n\nFor Community Coffee Hour following Sunday services: Sunday\, July 25 after church from 10:00am-2:00pm at Court Square on the east side of the Court House (with coffee from Black Sheep and juice from Friendly City Food Co-Op)\n\nMany thanks to Sentara Health for sponsoring these events in support of Downtown's future!\n\nIf you can't make it or prefer to engage online\, check back for a link to the interactive virtual version of the Dream Downtown events to be published on July 23!
