SUMMARY:Leon Majcen - Living Room Concert hosted by Trent Wagler
DESCRIPTION:SHOWTIME\n\nFriday\, October 10th at 7:30\n\nDoors opening at 7pm\n\n\n\nTICKET Sales open July 1st\n\n$35 in Advance\n\n$40 Day of Show\n\n\n\nLeon Majcen\, a singer-songwriter with a captivating story\, picks up where the outlaw country legends left off. The Living Room Concert Series\, part concert\, part live interview\, the night will be hosted by Steel Wheels Frontman\, Trent Wagler.\n\n\n\nMeet the Guest:\n\nLeon Majcen is a musician whose story is one of resilience and determination. He grew up on the Gulf Coast of Florida\, the son of Bosnian war refugees who had fled their homeland in search of a better life for their children. From a young age\, Leon was drawn to the power of storytelling through music\, particularly the work of artists like Townes Van Zandt\, John Prine\, Bob Dylan\, and Guy Clark.\n\n\n\nLeon began playing in local bars while still in high school\, honing his craft and building a loyal following. After graduating\, he decided to pursue his passion for music in New York City\, while attending college at New York University and playing shows around town. After a while\, Leon came to the realization that the hustle and bustle of the city wasn't where his heart was at.\n\n\n\nHe returned home to Florida and took a job at a commercial fishing dock\, filleting and packing fish while he planned his next move. And that move was to Nashville\, where Leon hoped to make his mark as a singer-songwriter. Since arriving in Nashville\, Leon has continued to develop his unique blend of Americana\, folk\, and country music\, drawing on his experiences and his love of the outdoors to craft songs that are both poignant and powerful. With his heartfelt lyrics\, soulful voice\, and deft guitar work\, Leon has built a strong following in Music City and beyond.\n\n\n\n\n\n"The 12-song experience tells a tale that is inspired by a journey of growth for a songwriter but also a man. It is a quintessential offering for an early summer sit down with a record player and a thunderstorm in the background\, a perfect escapism opportunity." - American Songwriter\n\n\n\n\n\n"One quick listen to Florida native Leon Majcen and you know he is an old soul. His haunting storytelling and smokey vocals are helping to usher in the new class of country singers in Nashville. Close your eyes\, you may think its even a modern day Townes Van Zandt." - Backstage Bobbi\, All Country News\n\n\n\n"Leon Majcen: From Prague to Nashville A Modern Highwayman's Musical Journey" - Ben Arthur\, Flamingo Magazine\n\n\n\n\n	\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Jun 18\, 2025\, 2:03?PM\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n	\n\n\n\n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n\n\n \n\n \n\n\n\nWebpage: https://courtsquaretheater.org/event/leon-majcen/\n\nTickets: https://prod3.agileticketing.net/websales/pages/info.aspx?evtinfo=945742~122e941f-95bb-459b-ac51-c553b35a314c&\n\nYouTube: https://youtu.be/knONo5y9tf8\n\nFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/share/1BvuKGcRmf/\n\n\n\n\n\nSHOWTIME\n\nFriday\, October 10th at 7:30\n\nDoors opening at 7pm\n\n\n\nTICKET Sales open July 1st\n\n$35 in Advance\n\n$40 Day of Show\n\n\n\nLeon Majcen\, a singer-songwriter with a captivating story\, picks up where the outlaw country legends left off.
