DESCRIPTION:Skyline Literacy Hosts 5th Annual Golfing for Literacy Charity Tournament\n\nAll proceeds go to benefit Skyline Literacy\n\n \n\nRegistration is now open for Skyline Literacy's 5th annual Golfing for Literacy tournament. \n\nDate: Friday\, September 17th\, 2021\n\nTime: Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. Lunch at 12 pm. \n\n Tournament play begins at 1:00 p.m.\n\nCost: $80 per individual and $320 per team of four. \n\nLocation: Heritage Oaks Golf Course\, 680 Garbers Church Rd.\, Harrisonburg Rd.\, VA 22801\n\n The tournament is an 18-hole\, four-member team captain's choice with an individual cost of $80 per participant and $320 per team. If registered by August 30th the charge is $300 for a team of four! Registration could be made by phone or online: 540-433-0505 or SKYLINE LITERACY - Golfing for Literacy 2021 (networkforgood.com).\n\n In addition to monies raised through team participation\, Skyline is seeking additional community involvement and support through various levels of individual and corporate sponsorship. The levels of sponsorship include recognition on the Skyline Literacy website\, oral and written recognition in the event program\, corporate or individual banner/logo display at the tournament\, and the opportunity to enter a four-member team in the event!\n\n\n\n Our goal is to raise $15\,000\, and we need your help to do it. You can support by choosing to participate in our No Hole Sponsorship program. You can choose one of four sponsorship levels: Red Tee Sponsorship of $100 (recognition in promotional material)\; Gold Tee Sponsorship of $500 (recognition in promotional material\, and website)\, White Tee Sponsorship of $750 (recognition in promotional material\, website\, and social media\, FB and Instagram) and Blue Tee Sponsorship of $1\,000 (prominent recognition on Skyline social media). You will find enclosed the flyer\, the 2021 Sponsorship levels with more details\, and the Registration Form if your company would like to register a team for this event.\n\n Sponsorship checks should be made out to "Skyline Literacy" and can be sent directly to Skyline Literacy\, P.O. Box 1354\, Harrisonburg\, VA 22803. Sponsors will receive a receipt from Skyline Literacy acknowledging their tax-deductible donation.\n\n \n\n Skyline Literacy\, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization\, is sponsoring the Golfing for Literacy Tournament to support its continuing efforts to fulfill its mission: "to provide needs-based instructions for adults in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County in Literacy\, English\, and citizenship\, using trained volunteers." As a community-based literacy organization for 33 years\, Skyline Literacy serves over 300 individuals annually. Since opening in 1987\, Skyline Literacy puts the needs of learners first and has developed a unique instructional approach that provides customized lessons for every learner. Last year\, our golf tournament raised money to provide tutoring scholarships and books for 50 community residents! \n\n \n\nWe appreciate all the support for Skyline's vision of a community where adults are empowered by literacy skills!
