Kick off your weekend in a free and family-friendly way while supporting the arts and artists of your local community.\n\n\n\nJULY STAMP CARD DROP-OFF VENUE:\n\nSpitzer Art Center @ 486 W. Market Street\n\n\n\n**************************************************************************************************************************************\n\nFirst Fridays Downtown (FFDT) began in 2009 as a partnership between Arts Council of the Valley (ACV) and Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance. Envisioned as an expansion of the biannual downtown Art and Gallery Walk\, FFDT served to gather community members and businesses each first Friday evening of every month in support of the downtown art and cultural district in Harrisonburg.\nFFDT began with 15 retail shops\, restaurants\, galleries\, and museums exhibiting artwork monthly from April through October. Now\, FFDT is coordinated solely by ACV and is a full-year community event\, including over 30 participating venues and bringing hundreds of people downtown each first Friday.\n\nInterested in getting involved?
