DESCRIPTION:LYDIA CARROLL\, FLUTE\n\nJEREMIAH PADILLA\, PIANO\n\nTHURSDAY\, NOVEMBER18\n\n7 P.M. / MARTIN CHAPEL\n\n\n\nLydia Carroll\, flutist\, serves on the music faculty at Eastern Mennonite University and Southern Virginia University. She holds\n\nperformance degrees from Bob Jones University (BM)\, Columbus State University (MM and AD)\, and James Madison University(DMA).\n\nLydia has performed with ensembles at Carnegie Hall as well as Barcelona\, Spain\, where she was a concerto soloist at the Costa Brava\n\n International Music Festival.\n\n\n\nJeremiah Padilla\, piano\, is finishing his DMA at JMU under the tutelage of Dr. Gabriel Dobner. As a soloist\, Jeremiah has performed\n\n piano concerti with the James Madison University Orchestra\, the University of Memphis Symphony Orchestra\, the Memphis Repertory\n\n Orchestra\, and the Awit Pilipinas Youth Orchestra. As a collaborative pianist\, he won the Outstanding Collaborative Lieder Pianist \n\nAward at AIMS in Graz\, Austria in2019.
