DESCRIPTION:Have you always wanted to learn to knit? Did you learn once before\, but can't remember how to get started again? Carrie McGary is a master knitter who can help! Plan to join us and learn about how to cast on\, knit and purl. We'll provide the needles\, you provide the yarn\, and Carrie will provide enthusiastic and encouraging instruction! \n\n\n\nYou can do this!!\n\n\n\n*The fee for this evening's knitting class is $35 per person. Space is limited in this class\, and guests aged 12 and up are invited to make a reservation by clicking here.  \n\n\n\nThe Village Arts Center is a privately owned community and arts center located on Main Street in Broadway\, Virginia.  It is our goal to provide a safe\, comfortable environment for our guests to relax\, share\, learn\, and develop relationships with like-minded folks in their community.\n\n\n\nTake an art class\, join us for a family event\, sign up for music lessons\, plan a special event\, share your skills\, or just come by to say hello!  \n\n\n\n We are only 12 miles north of Harrisonburg\, and the ride down Route 42 is peaceful.  While you're in Broadway\, plan to visit the spacious parks\, family friendly restaurants\, quaint shops\, nursery and garden center\, cozy library\, local farmer's market and more!
