DESCRIPTION:Join us at 4:00 p.m. on Monday\, May 27\, 2024\, at the Rockingham County Fairgrounds in Harrisonburg\, VA\, at our 9th Annual Memorial Day Community Celebration for a marvelous opportunity to come together with friends throughout the area and celebrate faith\, family\, friendship\, and freedom! We have exciting events lined up throughout the day including local bands\, a variety of food vendors\, a cruise-in featuring classic cars and trucks as well as modern hotrods\, and children's activities such as face painting\, balloon sculptures\, and inflatables.  We will also remember our fallen heroes and honor our veterans and first responders in a moving ceremony and feature artistic presentations by Tucker Rodkey and Painting Freedom.  The highlight of the day will be a performance by Dr. Lew Sterrett and Sermon on the Mount\, a professional horse trainer. For over 30 years Dr. Lew has combined his expertise as a professional horse trainer\, a certified youth and family counselor\, a licensed pastor\, and a successful business executive to produce one of the most unique events in the Christian realm.\n\n\n\nAdmission is FREE\, so bring your lawn chair\, invite your family and friends\, and get ready for an exciting\, entertaining day!
