DESCRIPTION:Join us at The Alpine Goat Brewery to celebrate America's Independence and raise money for the Military nonprofit Soldiers' Angels! We're excited to be a 2024 Soldiers' Angels Hops for Heroes brewery and will be releasing Homefront IPA on July 4th. All proceeds from the sale of the beer will go to Soldiers' Angels.\n\nHomefront IPA is a traditional American IPA. Maple bats are added to the tank during fermentation to pick up a delicious wood flavor\, and heaps of fresh orange zest are added after fermentation to create a bright and crisp citrus flavor.\n\n\n\nWhat will we do with those beer soaked bats you ask? We're raffling them off - along with a cool Homefront IPA tap handle - with proceeds going to Soldiers' Angels.\n\nWe're also extending our hours\, opening up at 12pm. Fat Boyz BBQ will start serving their delicious BBQ at 4pm.\n\nIf patriotic beers don't get you\, we're also offering beer specials from 12pm -10pm.\n\nWear your patriotic garb and come celebrate with us! Every sip of Homefront IPA supports our heroes.\n\n- Release of Homefront IPA\n\n- Fat Boyz BBQ from 4pm-10pm\n\n- Beer specials all day long\n\n- Raffles throughout the day\n\n\n\nAbout Hops for Heroes \n\nHops for Heroes is a yearly initiative that brings together breweries and homebrewers to craft a unique beer that gives back. The program was started by two breweries: Center of the Universe Brewing in Ashland\, Virginia and Fremont Brewing in Seattle\, Washington as a way to give back through the art and craft of brewing. Soldiers' Angels now runs the program and invites up to 50 breweries to participate each year.
