SUMMARY:17th Annual The First Tee of Harrisonburg Golf Classic
DESCRIPTION:Tournament will be held on Friday June 22nd at 9:00am at Heritage Oaks Golf Course.  Format will be a 4 person scramble with prizes awarded for 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd place winners.  We will also have a special Ladies Division for any teams that consist of 4 women\, and prizes will be awarded to that division as well.  There will also be a Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin Competitions. We provide learning facilities and educational programs that promote character-development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.\n\n\n\nOur program services the youth of the City of Harrisonburg\, Rockingham\, Shenandoah\, Page and Augusta Counties. Youth ages 5-17 are welcome to participate in our program.  So far\, in 2016\, we had over 5\,750 youth participants through our program\, public schools\, private schools\, and other outreach. We hope to see these numbers increase through additional programs with Harrisonburg City and Rockingham County Schools\, the 3 other Counties in our service area\, and other youth organizations.\nOur goal at The First Tee of Harrisonburg is to allow all children to grow character through the game of golf.  To ensure this\, we want to assure you that no youth will be turned away due to financial restrictions.
